Welcome to Nyx and Moon! Iām Nicole, the creator behind the shop. By day, I work full-time as an administrative coordinator for a nursing association. In my spare time, I enjoy various crafts, including scrapbooking, hand embroidery, paint-by-numbers, and most recently, making earrings out of polymer clay.
The name "Nyx and Moon" reflects my love for the night, my favourite time of day. When everyone else is asleep, and the house is peaceful and quiet, I find the perfect environment to create. I wanted to incorporate "Moon" into the name to symbolize this special time. To match my initials (NM), I searched for an "N" word and discovered Nyx, the Greek goddess of night. It was a fitting choice, and it also connects to my love of history and various mythologies.
When Iām not working or crafting, Iām busy running my kids to their sports activities, traveling with my family, or reading. Nyx and Moon is my creative outlet, where I turn simple materials into unique, handmade earrings.
